Living in New York City
1. Living in New York: Is it easy or difficult to find a place to live?
2. Living in the heart of the city is better than living in the suburbs. Do you agree or disagree?
3. In some cultures, several generations of the same family live together in the same home (for example, children, parents and grandchildren). This is not common in American culture. Do you think that several generations living together is a good idea?
4. Some people have cars in New York City, while others do not. Do you think it is beneficial to own a car in New York City?
5. City officials describe New York City as the "Capital of the World". Do you agree with this?

- an apartment
- a house?
5. People save money for many reasons, such as a vacation or a new car. Do you save money? If so, what are you saving for?

2. What is the difference between a need and a want?
3. Do you ever shop at Outlet Malls? Do you think they are a good place to buy things?
4. Do you prefer to buy from an online store such as Amazon.com, or a retail store, such as Macy's, Best Buy or Target?
5. Are there any things you absolutely would never purchase online? If so, explain why.
